Support in the Event of Death

MD Cimetiere Notre Dame 032 }

We're with you every step of the way. We're here for you, 24 hours a day, every day. Your advisor will guide you through the various stages and ensure your needs are heard and met.

The First Steps

Call 911.

Your local ambulance service will come to your home to pronounce the death and prepare the death certificate. The deceased person’s physician may also come to prepare and sign this document. If you know that the passing is imminent, take the time to discuss the procedure with the doctor.

Once the death certificate is signed, contact us at 514 735-1361 (toll free: 1 888 735-1361). A counsellor will guide you through the steps to follow.

If the death occurs in a place other than at home, such as a hospital, a long-term care centre or a hospice, contact us as soon as possible at 514 735-1361 (toll-free: 1 888 735-1361).

14th edition of the Montreal Cycling Grand Prix.

On September 14, the 14th edition of the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal will take place. During this event, the cemetery will be open to pedestrians only. We thank you for your understanding.
