We're with you every step of the way. We're here for you, 24 hours a day, every day. Your advisor will guide you through the various stages and ensure your needs are heard and met.

The First Steps

Call 911.

Your local ambulance service will come to your home to pronounce the death and prepare the death certificate. The deceased person’s physician may also come to prepare and sign this document. If you know that the passing is imminent, take the time to discuss the procedure with the doctor.

Once the death certificate is signed, contact us at 514 735-1361 (toll free: 1 888 735-1361). A counsellor will guide you through the steps to follow.

If the death occurs in a place other than at home, such as a hospital, a long-term care centre or a hospice, contact us as soon as possible at 514 735-1361 (toll-free: 1 888 735-1361).

Coyote spotted on site

A coyote has been seen on the cemetery grounds a few times over the past week. Its presence is not unusual in a natural setting, but we encourage all visitors to remain attentive.

As a precaution, please:

  • keep a safe distance;
  • do not approach it;
  • do not feed it;
  • report any sightings or unusual behaviour to cemetery staff.
  •

We are monitoring the situation closely and taking appropriate steps to help ensure everyone’s safety, while respecting the wildlife present on site.
