Memorial Masses

Because we know bereavement is an important stage, sometimes a long one, and that remembrance is significant for many of you, our pastoral team holds a monthly memorial Mass to pay homage to your loved ones.


Every first Saturday of the month, at 9:30 am and 11 am.

At Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection Chapel. These Masses are accompanied by professional musicians and are open to everyone.

Annual memorial Mass

The cemetery also invites the relatives of those interred during the past year to an annual memorial mass. This takes place at Notre-Dame Basilica in September. To know the next date, consult the calendar of activities.

Private memorial Masses

You wish to pay tribute to a loved one who left you a while ago or to commemorate the anniversary? of a passing? The Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection Chapel can welcome you for this important moment of recollection in the company of your family and friends. 

Memorial objects


Ornaments allow you to customize a crypt or niche. They can be religious, symbolic or decorative. From La Pietà to Christ, a flight of birds or bouquets of bronze roses, you will certainly find what resembles and touches you.


The Book of Saint-Pierre is a sculpture located in a special area, by the administrative pavilion and the Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection chapel. Made from granite and standing at 2.5 meters, its shape represents an open book.

This is the first commemorative piece of its kind in Montreal. It offers 300 bronze plaques to record the names, and dates of birth and death of your loved ones who have passed, and a picture if you wish.
