Memorial Masses

COVID-19: memorial Masses are currently suspended until further notice.

Because we know that grief is an important stage and that reflection is meaningful for many, our pastoral team holds a monthly memorial Mass to honour your loved ones.

When?

Every first Saturday of the month, at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Some dates may change. Please consult the calendar of events.

Where?

Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection Chapel These Masses are accompanied by professional musicians and are open to all.

Private Memorial Masses

Would you like to pay tribute to a loved one who left you some time ago or acknowledge a death anniversary?

The Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection Chapel can welcome you for this important moment of remembrance in the company of your loved ones. 

Please note that masses in the chapel are unavailable for an indefinite period.

The Book of Saint Peter

Commemorative Objects

The Book of Saint Peter is a commemorative sculpture located in a special area near the administrative pavilion and the Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection Chapel. 

The granite sculpture of a book is 2.5 m high. This is the first commemorative work of its kind in Montréal. We have 300 bronze plaques available to record the names and dates of birth and passing of loved ones who have left us. A photo can also be added if you wish.

Ornaments

Personalize the resting place of your loved ones with one of our bronze ornaments. Our collection has a wide range of options for expressing various interests, such as religious and nature themes, as well as frames for a photo of the deceased.

Mausoleums : Burial in a crypt or columbarium

Burial in a columbarium allows the insertion of an urn in a niche; burial in a crypt allows the insertion of a coffin in a dedicated space in a mausoleum.
