375TH OF MONTREAL: A REVIEW AT THE CEMETERY

As part of the 375th anniversary of Montreal, the École supérieure de ballet du Québec organized a series of Reverences in the city. In the dancing language, reverences show respect. This afternoon, the students of the École, accompanied by the students of the Conservatoire de musique de Montreal, performed a reverence at the cemetery to pay their respects to the founders of the city. It was an honour to host these artists on our heritage site.

The Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery is the last resting place for many cultural, political and sports personalities, who, in their own way, have marked the history of Montreal and Quebec. Have a look at some names here.

The event was co-organised with les Les amis de la montagne.
